The National Association of Rocketry.
This is the premier Model Rocketry Organization that the Pittsburgh Space Command(Section #473) is a section of.
The Tripoli Society of Rocketry.This is the premier High Power Organization. The organization was founded in Pittsburgh. Tripoli Pittsburgh is the 1st Prefecture of the Tripoli. They hold their high power launches, which are called Dragon's Fire, at Mountain Ridge Trails in Central City, PA. Mountain Ridge Trails is located about 90 miles east of Pittsburgh.
NARAM - 50.The 50th National Association of Rocketry Annual Meet will be held at on July 26 - August 1, 2008 at The Plains in Va. It will be hosted by NARHAMSand NOVAAR sections. This is the site where the American Rocketry Challenge is held. In 2008 the American Rocketry Challenge will be held on May 17, 2008.

The Bad Astronomy Page. This page by Dr. Philp Plate, who works at The Physics and Astronomy Department at Sonoma State University in California, is dedicated to debunking astronomy myths, inaccurate astronomy in movies, T.V., etc.
The Planetary Society. This is a non profit, non governmental organization that promotes the exploration of the Solar System and the search for extraterrestal life. It was founded by the late Dr. Carl Sagan, Dr. Bruce Murray, and Dr. Louis Friedman in 1980.
