FAI Schedule



The 18th FAI World Space Modeling Championship will be held in August, 2010 in Serbia. The National Association of Rocketry is responsible for organizing the team the will represent the U.S. at these championships and will conduct a competitive fly-off in conjunction with NARAM-51 with the following schedule;

• Anyone interested in trying out for the US Team must register as either a contestant or a sport flyer at NARAM-51.

• There will be a $10 supplemental entry fee for the fly-offs. Payment will be collected at the fly-offs in cashor check (checks to “NAR FAI Activities Committee”).

• All fly-off contestants must be current members of the NAR.

• Events will be flown per 2009 FAI space modeling rules www.fai.org/aeromodelling/documents/. In cases where FAI and NAR rules conflict, the NAR Safety Code shall have highest precedence, followed by the FAI Sporting Code. See Bulletin - 1 and Bulletin - 2 for more details.
