Look out for that tree!!!!!!
Up... Up... and Away.....
Oh No....It's "Code Red" again
Its a bird, a plane, no its a rocket powered glider...
Its Mort Binstock flying the rocket glider
Doug Haim with his "now famous " Code Red...This is the 2nd Code Red that Doug has owned...He enjoys seeing how many flights an RTF can take, before the fins start falling off !!!
"OLD TUBBY"
Now where did I put those fins?
Is this what you call a dog days?
Come on quit talking and lets fly some rockets...
Francis Graham has the Thallia, which is a rack rocket consisting of 8 stages, all A10's. The rocket went up a mile.
This is a close-up of the Thallia. As you can see, the rocket is mostly rocket engines, except for an enclosing rack of aluminum-tape covered balsa. Each engine successively fires ejecting the previous booster. Although an 8 stage rack was thought to be a record, someone had done an 11-stage rack.
Code Red, leaving the pad on a B/6/4... Doug Haim's favorite engine for his favorite rocket.
Looks great here but you should have seen it fly moments later
Woody Hoburg's Maxi-Force on (3) D12-5's.
View of the range head
Dave Grumbine's 1.68x upscale Orbital Transport (but without the glider). Now where did I put my white paint and Tango Papa decals?
We fly all type of aircraft
Rockets red glare
Well if the first one didnt work try try again..
The MEDI-ZOID, another strange machine by Francis Graham. In the styrofoam fall head there is a comparment for medications such as cadizem, etc. This project investigated the use of model rockets to transport medicines to temporarily inaccessible places.
IN spite of the best intentions for this technology, the MEDI-ZOID was a bit erratic in its flight characteristics.
It's The Wacky Wiggler,as flown by ?
Greg Brown pads up an original Estes V-2 that was rebuilt after being severely damaged. That's Greg's son, Ethan, in the center and Ethan's pal, Lenny, looking on.
Mike Hardobey teaching the next generation.
Ok
This is Mark Cassata's plastic model conversion of a lunar lander.
The Eagle has landed!
Greg Brown's restored original Estes V-2 clears the pad.
John Sarosi's Maxi Alpha Clone on a D12-5
Dave Grumbine's Generic 2-stage rocket.
An aplanocopter is a rotating model rocket with helicopter blades not in the same plane, invented by Joseph A. Peklicz. This is Francis Graham and an aplanocopter called the Funko-rototron. It flew successfully before on 2 D12's and on 2 C11's. Now Francis tries it with E9s.
The E9's were too much for the little Funko-rototron, and as a result the device had a centrifugal separation.
Uncertain, but I believe this is part of the Funko-rototronic debris smoldering in the wind. So it goes.
Dick Freed and John Sarosi getting John's Maxi Alpha out of a tree. They got it down.

This is Francis Graham returning with the Funko-rototronic debris. It took a while to collect it all, so I hope you enjoyed the previous pictures in between time.

Maranda Cassata gets ready to fly her R2-D2 model rocket.
Phil Haim setting up Rays 4.25x Mosquito for its gazillionth flight.( And Still NO Paint)
Hope it doesn't light on me!
This is Francis Graham with another odd device, the magnus-effect flying device called the TOTALLY TUBULAR. It rotates sideways like a barrel. When the bottom rotates into the wind, there is a net lift force. Francis is prepping this for a very short test hop on 4 1/4A3-4T's. Which one might suppose, is like one whole A3-4T.
Doug recovers another rocket.
Mark Cassata's Mercury Redstone sits on the pad ready to go!
Perfect lift off of Mark Cassata's Mercury Redstone.
The original Lampshade, by Dave Grumbine, takes to the air on a D12-0.
This nosecone and parachute were found. If they are yours, claim them!
Walt Haim with his "recently crashed" 6.25x Mosquito...The rocket was on its 7th flight, and will fly again, after some repair work.As yet, this rocket has never flown at Camp Lutherlyn.
"Do you think I'll get bonus points if I show these to my teacher?"
