2026 Launch Schedule

 

Welcome to the 2026 flying Season. All Pittsburgh Space Command Local Launches are listed here. Launch status will be updated at least 24 hours before the launch. Please be sure to check our Home Page for launch status as well as whether or not the launch has been rescheduled. ( It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.)

 

All launches are conducted under the NAR's Model Rocket Safety Code and High Power Rocket Safety Code. It is the flyer's responsibility to review these codes and fly accordingly. The Waiver Ceiling limits for all HPR Flights is 4000' AGL (Weather and Wind Direction permitting.  Certian conditons will require us lowering the waiver to 2000' AGL. Please check the website and weather before heading to a launch) with an M motor limit. As always, Tripoli (TRA) members are welcome at all of our launches.  

 

There are two Regional Competitions on this year's calendar. The event details are located directly below the calendar. Sport and HPR Flyers are always welcome to fly on competition days, so even if you are not competing, come on out. Please be aware that on the second day of competition (Sunday) the field closes earlier than usual.

*NRC event; with the weather issues we had this past spring we thought it best to just go ahead and include 5 the NRC events now just in case we have similar issues next spring. At this time, it is very likely that NARAM will be held again in Muncie Indiana, which could also require that the event is also held early again (late June).
